The BBC was founded in New York City February 2003, in an effort to give Black British citizens in the United States a voice. Many of us have been living in the US for quite some time, however, we still have not gained recognition for the challenges we have overcome. So, in an effort to put us on the map, this group was founded and the message is being sent.
